So guys lets proceed to our next post on the stadiums of the FIFA World Cup matches. There are all total 12 stadiums from 11 host cities. In the first place we will discuss about the stadiums here. Venues for the Matches
There are total 12 stadiums across the European Russia for FIFA World Cup. All of them are situated in 11 different cities. And all of them are equally beautiful. The Russian football Authority take a very good care and show there uniquely decorated professionalism for each of the stadiums for all FIFA World Cup match. Total 65 matches are to be played. And the hosting cities and stadiums has arranged wonderfully for each of those matches. Luzhniki Stadium at Moscow will hoist the opening ceremony and match. And this is the biggest stadium of all. So folks, here are the stadiums. In addition to that in this post we will discuss in detail about the stadiums.
- Luzhniki Stadium
This Stadium is located in Moscow. And is the biggest stadium of all. With a capacity of 81000 it reflects the architectural superiority of Russian technology. Moreover this stadium is uniquely designed to cater all its visitors with same thrilling experience. Total 8 matches to be played here. On 14th June 2018 the opening match between Russia and Saudi Arabia will be played here. This stadium will also host the final match on 15th July 2018.
- Saint Peters-burg Stadium
Also known as Zenit Arena, this stadium is uniquely designed by Kisho Kurokawa. This stadium is located in Krestovsky Island in Saint Petersburg, Russia. This is also a very big and of course beautifully designed stadium. It can accommodate 67000 visitors. Furthermore it is a retractable roof stadium. Which allows it to host any match at any seasonal condition. It will host total 7 matches starting from 15 June 2018.
- Fisht Stadium
This stadium is located in Sochi Olympic Park. It can hold more than 40000 visitors. Not to mention that this stadium is also uniquely designed. Fisht Stadium will host total 6 matches starting from 15 June 2018.
- Ekaterinburg Arena
Central Stadium of Ekaterinburg is a multipurpose stadium. It is located in Ekaterinburg Russia. With total capacity of almost 36000, it is one of the smallest stadiums of all. Furthermore the capacity of this Stadium will be reduced to 25000 after the FIFA World Cup 2018. The stadium will host 4 World cup matches. The first match will be on 15 June 2018.
- Kazan Arena
This Stadium is located in Kazan, Russia. The total capacity is around 45000. Not to mention that the Stadium is also wonderfully designed. It contains world’s one of the best athletic gymnasium. It’s media facade and player stands are comparatively much better than other stadiums of Europe. The Stadium will hold total 6 matches starting from 16 June 2018.
- Nizhny Novgorod Stadium
- Rostov Arena
This uniquely designed stadium is the brain child of Populous. It is situated at Rostov-on-Don, Russia. The total capacity of this stadium is 42000. It will host total 5 matches starting from 17 June 2018.
- Samara Arena
Samara Arena as well as known as Cosmos Arena is situated in Samara, Russia. likewise the other stadium it can hold up to 45000 spectators. Similarly it will host 6 matches starting from 17 June 2018.
- Mordovia Arena
This Stadium is in Saransk, Russia. It is situated at the eastern bank of river Insar. Not to mention that the Stadium is also very beautiful. Likewise it can accommodate almost 45000 visitors. Starting from 16 June 2018 it will host total 4 matches.
- Volgograd Stadium
This uniquely built stadium is built at the demolished site of Central Stadium. Moreover the stadium is situated at the bank of river Volga. Similarly it can accommodate up to 45000 spectators. The first match is on 18 June 2018. It will host total 4 matches.
- Spartak Stadium
Also known as Otkritie Arena. It is situated in Moscow, Russia. Likewise the other stadium it can hold 45000 visitors. Total 5 matches starting from 16 June 2018 will be played here.
- Kaliningrad Stadium
Also known as Arena Baltika is situated in Oktyabrsky Island, Kaliningrad, Russia. With the capacity of 35000. It is the smallest stadium of all venues. Total 4 matches starting from 16 June 2018 will be played here.
